Do these ear covers block all noise?
No. They are soft fabric covers, not hearing protection. They help soften loud sounds and add gentle, snug pressure around the ears. Every dog reacts differently, and some dogs need a few tries to get used to them.
Will they stop my dog's fear or anxiety?
They are not a medical treatment, and we can't promise they will calm every dog. Many pet parents use them as one more tool on loud days, along with a quiet space, treats and a familiar routine. If your dog is very afraid of loud sounds, please talk to your vet.
How do I help my dog get used to them?
Go slowly. Let your dog sniff the ear cover, then give a treat. Put them on for a few seconds at a calm moment, give another treat and take them off. Add a little more time each day. Never force it, and stop if your dog seems upset.
Can my dog wear them alone, in the heat or to sleep?
No. Always stay close while your dog wears them. Do not use them in hot weather or while your dog sleeps. Take them off if your dog pants a lot or seems too warm. Check that they are not too tight and don't cover the eyes or nose.
Which size should I choose, and how do I clean them?
Measure around your dog's head just in front of the ears, over the top of the head and under the chin. Between two sizes? Email support@furjoyshop.com with the number and we'll help you choose. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth or hand wash in cool water with mild soap, and let them air dry.

I bought it for my dog, who is a mini Schnauzer, in size S, and it was slightly big on him, but it doesn't come off either. There is a solution, and the Velcro seems super sturdy. It looks comfortable, as it's not hard or heavy, making it ideal for him to reduce noise, since he gets scared easily.

It took quite a while for the delivery, an additional month. The product is correct; I have a 15 kg border collie and size S fits just right. It does its job for the spikes, but I'm not sure about the noise...
